The Burgundy Ficus, also known as the rubber plant, is famous for its dark yet shiny leaves. In the wild, this plant can grow up to 200 feet tall! This plant will not thrive in low-light conditions, so make sure it is placed in an area with lots of bright, indirect light. Additionally, ensure that its soil is always kept moist. It should be noted that this plant is composed of a latex that is poisonous if ingested, so be sure to keep it away from children, pets, and those with latex allergies.

Water this plant when the top half of the soil is dry. When watering, do so until water runs out of the drainage hole.

This plant does just fine in normal humidity conditions, but also enjoys a good misting.
